I’ve been using the PHILIPS GC181/8 for a few days now, and it’s exactly what I needed. The build quality is excellent—it has a good weight to it, which makes ironing easier because I don’t have to press down hard. The black non-stick soleplate glides smoothly over all kinds of fabrics, and I haven’t had any issues with sticking or scorching.

The heat control knob feels worse than a kids toy. No proper feedback. Not sure if temperature setting is right.
Also the box was not sealed, not sure if it’s a used piece. Apart from that, rest seems okay. Wire length is good and of good quality. That’s all.
If you don’t mind using heat knob much, go for it.

Waste product. It doesn’t iron properly. Hard to get out the wrinkles. Takes so much to iron. Doesn’t do the basic. Heat is not at all good for ironing. Total waste. There’s no option to return too. Better don’t buy this product.
