It’s effective however the only reason it attaches to the door is because it’s jams the door between the 2 foam pipe sized tubes making it easy to install but also easy to not stay in place over time. It needs dome form of adhesive but doesn’t have. Does it stop insects ? Yes. Very effectively but also makes the door harder to close in some instances if there is a slab against the door.
