Eggs cook fine but this product is brought down by it’s measuring cup. You need to consult the manual page to figure out how much water is needed for boiling different types and quantities – this should have been marked on the measuring cup itself. Cup isn’t big enough for filling in one go, you have to pour out multiple times!! The egg puncturing pin is plastic which causes eggs to crack.

This egg boiler does exactly what it’s supposed to.. boils eggs quickly and consistently. It’s easy to use, compact, and cleanup is simple. I’ve had great results with both soft and hard-boiled eggs. However, for a basic appliance with minimal features, the price feels a little high compared to similar models on the market. Still, if you want a reliable option with the Amazon Basics branding, it’s a solid buy.

I’ve bought three units of this egg boiler within a month—that’s how impressed I am! The first one was for me, and it worked so well that I got another for my mother, who absolutely loves it. Then, when my brother’s old egg boiler broke, I didn’t think twice before ordering one more for him.
In terms of price, quality, and build, this is hands down the best. It serves its purpose perfectly—boils eggs just right every time. The auto cut-off feature is a nice touch, though I’d still recommend keeping an eye on it while it’s working, just to be safe.
It takes very little time, is super easy to clean, and its compact design makes it easy to store. If you’re looking for a reliable, budget-friendly egg boiler, this one’s a no-brainer!
