There is some manufacturing defect in this Bajaj gas geaser. I observed it in my both gas geasers. It sparks some what later after starting water tap. So gas comes out of geaser and then it burns like small explosion 💥. And and this problem go on increasing. I my house it causes small explosion and fire. I complaint it from starting but technician do not take it seriously. Problem becomes big after warranty period is over. Now no use of telling anything to them because warranty is over. Till I tried and they refused to accept problem.

Now I’m going to bye v guard Gas geaser.

Very Good one , time save , instant geyser , good thing if u make hot and cold water with 3 in 1 wall mixer u can have hot water shower also which is not possible in electrical once as water will get over , here continues water , and gas we can get for 3 months i hope . everyone think that it will not be safe , if you concern that even electrical not safe , that also cut off is there , this also cutoff is there , and we all are extensively using Gas in home , even that is also dangerous. All have safety issues , so i felt this is good to have save time and no need worry in power cuts. spl in winter for kids or age people need hot water even for brushing , so this will be usefully as u get in instand, i had one AO smith in one bathroom and one . i like this is more that AO smith , bcz after 15 minutes also you will have 75 degree heat water which not so hot , but here you will get more than that and continues , Only concern issue space and cylinder , but if you have extra gas cylinder then you can and if need safety you can install outside the bathroom by putting a hole in wall for the gas piple (like in balcony)

This 5 kg LPG water heater is what you need. Excellent product. I have been using it since 2 years and not a single complaint till now. Just take care to change the batteries when you have lighter issue. Every function and safety features are working great. Highly recommended.

The product finish is good and thats it nothing else is good.
Update – They have given an replacement product and the replacement product is literally of no use it’s having a different problem now that Gas is not turning on and if it does it stays for 5 secs and goes off automatically+ red light on geyser bloinks continuousl so no use of replacement product also.
The technician has visited almost 8 times from July 2023 to YTD(Dec 2023) with problems with its water sensors, batterry box issues and what not.
If you place a complaint and if technician forgets to look at your complaint the ticket gets closed automatically without a resolution ( very cheap IT system in place here) Plus the company is least bothered to resolve issues on call as well as on their Twitter hanle (go visit company’s Twitter handle with tons of similar complaints)
The technician also took away the screws that are provided by the company to hold the body of the geyser in place and left the problem unresolved!
Looks like it’s a Chinese made product and the company just got their brand printed on it to spoil Bajaj’s renowned brand name.
Will not recommmend you to invest your hard earned money on this and will recommend Amazon to delist the product

The product got delivered just the next morning I was very happy about that. But then from there it goes down hill.
Called the service helpline number they setup according to them a ‘Complain’ Installation work order where you get a SMS with the Complain Number and no details on the technician or any number to contact
You have to WAIT for the technician to call you which has STILL NOT HAPPENED (Day 3)
After numerous calls to the Call Center they gave me a number for the nearest Authorized service center
The person says the Geyser will need an additional ‘CNG FITTING’ costing Rs: 350 as I have a gas pipeline at home and without that it will stop working. I said its ok but I feel this is the Manufacturers responsibility to supply the part as its quite obvious that this device gets installed by most consumers who have the gas pipeline
I get another call confirming if there is any plumbing work to be done or not and even that person says you will HAVE TO WAIT FOR THE TECHNICIAN TO CALL
Overall a run-around by the Service Team to Install a product that you have already paid for.

Got the installation done finally! They charged us rs 3500 (almost the cost of the product) to install
Had to plead to the person to come and set it up
Product is amazing but the run around to install the device can drive you crazy. Made me almost return the product
They will not give you the number of the technician only a work order number and they need 2 technicians to come…one for the lpg gas fitting and the other for the device fitting.
EDIT:
They charged me 3500/- for the installation – CNG Fitting inside the device, Copper Pipes, Gas Valve, D Batteries, Pipe Connectors – they sent 2 people one for the LPG Gas who brought the CNG Fitting and changed it inside the device.
The person who came said that we should have not brought this product as they are getting may complains, but after using the product i dont find any issues.
And then along with the LPG Guy came the bajaj installer who installed the device. I was not persent at home while they were installing it. But the LPG guy did break by Tiling in the kitchen while drilling a hole so that was a negative I wanted to mention.
Overall the product is amazing – hot water as soon as turn on the shower! amazing to just reach home and jump into the shower!

This item is very good if you purchase it from market but this is not adivised to purchase it through on line mode as per my experience. I replaced it which was purchased through Amazon as it was giving problem during working and stopped frequently when in use. The 2nd replaced piece was also giving more problems. It is not starting in single try. Normally 15 to 20 attempts were required to start it and it was also stopped during working too. This 2nd Piece was also returned by Amazon. After that I purchased same product from market which are functioning very well for last since last one month,so I think that amazon should blacklist such Vendors who are supplying defective pieces.
