The product requires a 16A socket which is not available as commonly. Also it took about 30 minutes to heat 15 litre of water. This is not good for a 1.5 kw heater. The clip that holds it to bucket could have been of better quality. I would suggest students like me living in hostel to go for a 1000 watt heater with a common socket requirement.
I purchased this Bajaj immersion water heater, expecting reliability from a well-known brand. However, within just two months of normal use, it got completely damaged! The heating coil is burnt and broken, making it completely unusable.
To make things worse, Bajaj’s customer service is extremely rude and unhelpful. They refused to replace the faulty product without any explanation. If this is how they treat customers, I strongly advise against buying any Bajaj electrical products. Terrible quality and even worse after-sales service.
Do yourself a favor and go for a better brand. This is a waste of money!
