    Edit: 23 Dec 2023, 4.30 PM: I am distressed to inform that a Bepure executive visited my home just now without any prior notice, raising serious privacy and ethical concerns. The executive entered my house unannounced, inquiring about negative feedback. I have promptly reported this unsettling incident to Amazon over the phone, and I am considering involving the police if such invasive behavior persists. Urgent attention to this matter is requested, and I trust Amazon will address it swiftly.

    ORIGINAL REVIEW:

    It’s a long review, but every point is worth noting, both for the consumers who are willing to buy it and for the manufacturers who designed and built it. Amazon, as usual, did a fantastic job of delivering the product on time with a smile always on the delivery executives’ faces.

    1. Bepure’s user and installation manual are poorly designed, and it took more than 30 minutes to see how this can be installed since it’s a new undersink concept with a separate water storage tank.

    2. There is water leakage from one of the filters as soon as it is installed for the first time. The leakage is from the filter itself and not from any connecting pipes. I called the customer care number for quick support, but it was not reachable.

    3. If the manufacturers really want to make space in the RO market, please ensure that they either call back all the customers who purchased their product or give any emergency number to connect. I see many startup companies selling products on Amazon and sharing demos online through GIG workers. That’s an efficient, low-cost way to reach more customers, share a happy after-sales service, and thus create more earning opportunities for youngsters too.

    4. I wasted Rs 400 on an installation that took approx. 2 hours and noticed water leakage, the repair of which is beyond the end-users fixing knowledge, and further spent 30 minutes to uninstall and pack the product, with no other option left for help. I further connected with Amazon support on call and explained to them the problem to which I had offered a refund.

    Important: For any product that arrives faulty at the user’s end or not fully checked at the manufacturer’s end, there are a lot of resources that have been put into delivering the product and then taking it back, including the customer’s and the family’s excitement. My only request to the manufacturers is to check the quality of the product, make the manuals user-friendly, add the installation cost to the product’s cost, send a skilled technician for the installation, keeping the customers tension-free, and keep a handwritten or phone support system ready for any help. Such painful experiences also add more hate for Amazon as a platform, for no reason.
