Looks really nice, and is VERY similar to its Cuisanart equivalent (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00008CM6C) in appearance and performance on the stove top. Heavy base is useful for slow cooking. However, its interior coating is far more sensitive and you will be left with unsightly scratch marks if you stir too vigorously with a metal spoon OR scrub too hard. Still, pretty decent price to performance.

Heavy pan. Feels solid in your hands. The 18/10 stainless steel looks really good and it’s dishwasher safe so phew.
Distributes heat very effectively and evenly. Don’t leave acidic sauces in the pan for too long to ensure longevity.

Product is quite heavy.u can even cook veggies in small amount .I have bergener casserole 4.1 litre that is big for 2 people’s dry sabji so bought this beautiful piece for multi uses.
[...]Happy with previous experience.handle didn’t get hot.after 3 4 uses it get used to and food will not stick to bottom at all.the lid is also heavy.only con i found that it leaves water marks after washing as I live where there is too much hard water.and we can’t give it maid for cleaning because they will spoil it by using steel scrubber which not necessary.whatever food or oil have on bottom clean in one swipe by sponge.just water filled soak for 5 minit and it get clean.

Product received last month. Pan is of GUD quality. But lid was hit by something heavy. Seller when complained said manufacturing defect. Don’t know.
Usage:- 1) to boil milk, water. Has measurement etched inside d pan .That is very helpful.
2) for melting chocolate on double boiler. Just apt size.
3) When we cut onion we usually rub hands on steel sinks/drainboard 2 get rid of onion smell. Dis pan can b taken in2 consideration instead of sink or other steel utensil.
Cleanup:- 1) milk residue can b cleaned easily. Let d saucepan cool den fill it with tap water. Use scrubber 2 clean. Don’t use steel scrubber as dis will spoil d shine nd beauty of d pan surface.
2) If chocolate has been melted on double boiler. No such need 2 clean. Only proper sized bowl should b placed on dis pan.
[...]3) If butter has 2 b used in a recipe add 1 tbsp of Olve oil so dat butter doesn’t burn nd cleaning doesn’t become a pain.
I’m happy 2 purchase dis sauce pan. Have i got an undamaged lid also dat could have been more happier shopping experience.
UPDATE:- when boiling veg. In dis pan don’t cover it with lid. Color of d veggies will stay more vibrant. But covering d pan will make dem loose their color.( once adviced by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor on a cookery show) . Tried nd tested formula.

I purchased a new set of Bergner pots and pans and they are world-class quality. These are just as good as the highest quality cookware you would find in high end European or American kitchen stores. This is not my first time over many decades buying quality stainless cookware and having purchased much more expensive cookware than these Bergner’s and my opinion is that this Bergner cookware is just as good as the more expensive. Very satisfied Bergner customer.
