I recently purchased the CTM14A Treadmill and I’m extremely happy with the product. The build quality is solid, the motor runs smoothly, and the features are just right for home workouts. The display is easy to read, and the treadmill operates quietly, which is perfect for early morning or late-night sessions.
Assembly was straightforward, and it didn’t take much time to set it up. I also appreciate the different speed and incline options – they really help in customizing the workout as per my fitness goals.

Clearly had already been returned as the inside packaging was broken. And the electrical circuits were exposed because a part had come loose. Avoid this product and this sales channel.

You can imagine my frustration as I have been going back and forth with Cockatoo’s customer service team for ~3 months now to get my treadmill fixed with no avail and now they have been ghosting me since 2 weeks so I had to pen down a review detailing how you shouldn’t even bother with their products if you love your sanity.

It all started in March when I noticed the treadmill would start overheating within 5 minutes of usage despite lubricating the belt with silicon oil and treadmill would lose it’s speed post 5.8KMPH (video attached). It was almost like motor was failing to take the load. I reached out to Cockatoo service center and from there started a series of really poor service experience riddled with confusion and a series of incorrect/incompatible parts send to me 3 times with clueless technicians.
Attempt 1: Motor + PCB Replacement (5th March)
I reached out to them, they sent a technician who confirmed that both motor and the PCB is toast and would need a replacement. They asked my address and forced to buy their lubricant silicon oil and then only they will send the parts as they claimed the motor got damaged due to incorrect lubricant application (that came with the machine itself in first place). Anyhow, I paid ₹1350 for 1200ml (which I later found out was a loot) and they shipped me the replacement parts. Lo and behold, when I got the parts, the motor was of incorrect size and power (0.75HP instead of original 3HP motor) and didn’t fit my machine. They just asked the technician to do some jugaad and put it on 1 screw instead of 2 screws in the bracket and then asked me to test the machine which performed even poorly than before (given the lower HP rating of the motor). I asked them to fix it and send the correct part.
# Attempt 2: Another Motor replacement (28th March)
This time, I received another package with motor and I asked them to send the technician. When technician opened the package, we found out this time while the motor rating was 3HP the size was still incorrect and shorter due to which bracket was still out of alignment. I was surprised at the inefficiency of their team as we had already wasted 2 months doing this game and still they couldn’t send a correct part for their product.
# Attempt 3: Now I have 3 motors and 2 PCBs and none of them work (12th April)
I asked their team to replace my treadmill as last resort if they dont have the part as these machines are all SKUs imported from China. This time they asked me to send all 3 motors back with the bracket and ensured me that they will send the correct part installed with bracket so it will be all good.

Now it’s been over 40 days and I haven’t received the part, my treadmill is a dead weight in my room and their customer care department has stopped picking my calls or answering my text on their whatsapp channel. I am inclined to dispute my credit card and file a consumer court case against negligence towards customer and a poor customer service. Please go for some another brand if you want to buy a treadmill, Cockatoo is just selling white labeled chinese products with no after sales support as their warranty is a sham. Save yourself the headache.

Satisfied with the product

3. Performance – Working fluently, have had been using it for past 1 month. Didn’t face and performance issue as of now.
Ran it at max speed 14km for 5min span in intervals. Occasionally there, is sound of the joints while sprinting over it that caused distraction.
4. USB – Only for charging cannot use pendrive to play music. Had to connect a mobile device via AUX cable to listen music during use.
Overall the product is quite good and easy to use.
Good for inhouse use as it doesn’t occupy much space.

I am 170 cm, weighing around 70 kg. I needed a budget treadmill mostly for brisk walking and occasional running. I ordered the CTM 101 in mid-March, and I am writing this review in mid-May, after almost two months of usage.
The ordering experience was good; I got it at a deal price of 18k during a sale.
The delivery experience was pathetic in my area. I gave the delivery man a single star that day.
I was so excited to use this machine that as soon as I set it up, which was pretty easy, I hopped onto it. My better half, who reduced her weight from 65 kg to around 60 kg, loves this machine.
It works really well. It also worked with an inverter. Although I was a little apprehensive about that, it functions with an inverter too.
The main reason I am writing this review is that yesterday, while I was running on it at the top speed of 14.8 with earbuds on, the machine suddenly jerked and stopped, showing E02 on the screen. This was scary and unexpected.
I tried reaching out to customer care, but the number was not available as their timing is from 10 AM to 5 PM. I was disappointed. However, I reached out to online groups, and someone suggested tightening the belt and using lubrication, which I did. After that, I ran for 1 km more with no issues. I was relieved.
This morning, they called me promptly, offered their assistance, and were willing to send a technician. They’ve called numerous times since morning for any help. I had to tell them to stop, saying the machine was fine the last I checked and that I would let them know if required.
I am impressed not only by the machine, which is more than perfect for a person of my height and stature, but also by the after-sales service this brand offers.
I made the right choice. Recommended 100%.
