[...]Die Bildqualität und Einstellungsmöglichkeiten, gepaart mit dem magnetischen Zubehör und dem doch ziemlich geringen Preis, machen die DJI cam zu einem guten Begleiter, den ich schon auf einigen Wanderungen und einer Kanu Tour in Schweden getestet habe.
Die Mimo App von DJI ist ein nettes gimmick, da es einen ‘KI Editor’ gibt. Dieser ist allerdings eher spielerei.
Dennoch finde ich die Cam an und für sich sehr gut und intuitiv zu bedienen. Das umfangreiche Zubehör, welches es dafür gibt finde ich auch sehr ansprechen. In meinem Bundle hatte ich ein Kopfband, das Akkupack, eine universalhalterung und eine ‘Halskette’ dabei, alles Magnetisch und sitzfest. Ich gebe eine klare Kaufempfehlung.

Getting super over heat and getting shutdown after a full charge. Getting heat is not a normal kind of heat, its an other condition of battery damage issue.. Also shutting down with out any info in a second Refund i want. Its my right. Product is damaged after stopping the production they had their last piece of damaged one they delivered to me. I don’t want this model any more. I have all its things same like delivered today.

Very frustrating. 9 out of 10 times to 1) unable to read the internal memory 2) unable to read the SD card, 3) unable to transfer files from internal memory to SD card—just shows export error message.
Also very strange during initial setup, was only asked to select a language, but there was no registration prompt to register with Mimo app. Definitely defective…ordered another on.
When I went to put the camera back in box for the return, I noticed all sorts of covers and stickers crumpled inside—these were supposed to be wrapped around a brand new product! So disappointed I was sent a used and defective product as though it is new!!!

Extremely handy and versatile… Heating is not a big issue if you understand the settings and how to avoid without compromising video quality… Massive storage 128 GB is more than enough to capture whatever you wish to try. Voice activation is a cool feature. Low light performance may not be great, but under sun light condition, it captures excellent video. Similarly still photos may not be great, but amazing action video. So any action camera or DSLR, you should know the best suitable condition and purpose for each equipment…for photo, video time lapse, slow motion, etc…All essential accessories are included…. that is a big plus.

The DJI Action 2 has been upgraded to include 128gb of memory now. I have two of the original 32gb models with the power modules and screen modules. They are such a great small sized action camera with great stabilization features. When I heard about the upgrade, I purchased two of the 128gb models with the additional power modules. The only issue is with overheating, and then shutting down. However, I do my keep them cool by placing a very quiet muffin fan in close proximity to keep a generous flow of air around them when in use.

Excellent for the price segment. Apart from a little heating issue, no more cons I could find. Took it to water park, into the ocean while snorkelling, work perfectly fine. Photo quality is okayish, but video quality is really nice in the segment. Stabilization works really well. Can be used as a webcam. [ Used on my macbook m1 ]. Sound quality is decent. Supports any external mic with type-c.

I’ve been using this action camera for two days now, and I can confirm that DJI has fixed the overheating issue. It does get warm, but it no longer stops recording at 4K for extended durations.
For those looking for a small, discreet camera with slightly better video quality than an iPhone, this is a great option. I use an iPhone 16 and have compared both. The DJI Action 2 performs better during the daytime, especially when comparing the ultra-wide shots between the iPhone 16 and this action camera.
Professional photographers and content creators can use this camera to record BTS footage and more. It also features a D-Cinelike flat color profile, which is extremely useful for color grading in post-production. Battery life is impressive for a camera of this size—I was able to record 180 minutes of 4K 30fps video until both the camera and power module were completely drained.
My only concerns:
The camera lacks autofocus (it has fixed focus), so it can’t focus on objects that are too close.
Low-light performance is average, which is expected given the small sensor size.
The lens isn’t replaceable, so users need to handle it with extra care. I personally avoid using tempered glass on the camera lens, as it may reduce optical quality.
Overall, it’s a solid choice for those who need a compact, high-quality action camera!
