As shown in the attached video, instead of filtering the water from the wrapped material the water is leaking from the bottom plastic cap. This defeating the purpose of pre filteration and unfiltered water will scape through the bottom plastic cap. Looks like a very cheap product chargin premium pricing, the branded products do not leak water like this product. Please take return of the product.
Review after 9 Months:
[...]The MLT filter was not as bad as expected in the above video. The filter has worked well and when opened for cleaning a lot of sediment waste is prevented by the filter.
The casing cap is of bad quality, it has started leaking. The filter was places at a safe place and the crack is in the middle (not near to any join) which is very unexpected. My another casing of Bepure is working without any leaks from last 4 years. This casing was not even opened in past 9 months and after leakage it was opened foe checking. Again I would not recommend this product as the leakage is a symptom the problem might be the bad quality of material and unknowingly the plastic is just getting mixed in drinking water.

Best Pre Filter spun yarn wound on core. I even removed the cap to check the yarn and found the spun to be tightly wound(Photo attached) fits perfectly too.
The material also looked of great quality and at a very affordable price. Eureka Filter cos 475 and this just 300 with such great quality finish and packing.

Packaging was 4 in a cardboard box – well packed, neatly. My original one which came with LG had a very good woven mat, but cost 350+ which i thought was bloody expensive. Last time i ordered similar pack of another indian sounding brand name for 120 per piece and i was hoping these would be better than the previous ones since they cost 200 per piece. But no. These are a little better, but still cheap plastic caps and filmsy woven yarn and nearly double the cost. These are okay, no complaints, but if same quality I’d buy the cheaper one! Decent product and better than the more cheaper ones but not matching the OEM supplied ones which were superlatively better.

Very good product for my auquaguard water purifier. It is a compatible one. However, Pre filter casing cap should have been robust.
