Extremely Disappointed – Received a Defective Godrej Washing Machine
I recently purchased the Godrej 7 Kg 5 Star Fully Automatic Top Load Washing Machine (Model: WTEON ALP 70 5.0 FDTN GPGR, Graphite Grey) directly from Amazon Retail, and I’m extremely disappointed with the product quality and after-sales support.
Upon unboxing, I was shocked to find that the main door of the washing machine was stuck using double-sided tape. This is completely unacceptable for a brand like Godrej. It clearly indicates poor build quality, possible tampering, and serious safety concerns.
Despite reaching out to Amazon Customer Service, the assistance provided has been inadequate and frustrating. I expected a quality product and professional service, but unfortunately, both have failed to meet even basic expectations.
I strongly urge both Godrej and Amazon to improve their quality control and customer grievance handling processes. I am now forced to pursue a refund or replacement, and this has caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience.
Would not recommend this product to anyone. Very disappointing experience!

Horrible installation. Came with the water input sensor defect. Was showing technical error write from the day 1. The customer service support never responded for rectifying the fault. The customer support force does to buy more parts to solve this problem. I am not at all satisfied with the quality of this product. I would not recommend this product for anyone in the future to explore. We bought this product to make the life of our parents who are in their 80s. Unfortunately we added more hassel in their daily life with this ulterior quality of product.

This product seems to be good, but the demo was not good, the accessories were not proper. The inlet water pipe doesn’t have reasonable length, it was too small. Same with outlet pipe. The rat mesh is totally a mess. The service engineer who came for demo couldn’t fix it. He asked me to raise a complaint. But I couldn’t see any option for raising issue with this wrong accessory. Hence raised service incomplete issue. Also the demo person was seeing this model for the first time. He doesn’t know where to load the detergent, how to enable child lock, etc.
