Within 2 years of usage, the geyser has undergone repair twice.
First, the display board failed within one year.
Now the power supply (PCB) has failed. The technician has no idea what the cost of the part is or when the part will be available. If the company does not provide the price list of parts, the technicians can make as much money as they want.
The only information the technician gave is that the repair will cost at least 2,500/- and there will be no warranty on the replaced part. This means no support even if the part fails again after an hour of installation.
Havells does not seem to be a reliable company because I have been facing quality issues with other appliances of this brand as well.

Pros:
1. Smart device: takes commands from Echo. Switch on/off, and set the temperature just by voice commands.
2. Quick heating and decent insulation to keep water hot.
3. Indication of water temperature by varying LED colours.
Cons:
[...]1. Very little hot water comes out at one time. I never get more than 7 liters of warm water in one go. After that, cold water starts coming out.
2. The Alexa skill has limited features.
3. Echo connectivity is not seamless. For example, when I give a command to switch on the geyser. Alexa says the geyser cannot be found, but when I check it, it is on. So it executes the command, but the feedback is not reaching the Echo. This happens 50% of the time.
4. The thermostat of the geyser is set in a weird way. The heating element does not heat water until there is a 6-degree difference between the water and set temperatures. When I set it to 40 degrees and start using water, the temperature keeps dropping until it reaches 34, and then the thermostat gets triggered to heat the water again. The funniest part is the claim in the manual, which says water is heating all the time until the LED turns amber. This is entirely false. Ideally, the thermostat should trigger with a difference of 2 to 3 degrees to avoid water getting cold in the middle of a bath. In my 9-year-old Venus Splash water heater, the thermostat triggers with a 2 degree difference. Hevells should learn something from competitors.
5. Average aesthetics: Poor temperature display. It is far from what it looks like in the pictures. The quality of the front panel is poor. When the bathroom light is off, all the internal parts of the front panel are visible due to the LED light.
6. No access to any feature through onboard geyser penal.
7. No remote like Adonia R, so you have to install it at a low height to operate it manually.

Heater looks good and specifications and build quality are good. Led light indication for temperature is a nice.
But adding the device to Havells one app is quite a challenge.
I specifically purchased the Adonia I to enjoy the smart connectivity feature through the scheduler.
Initially, I was disappointed because I couldn’t add the device to Havells one app. The process got stuck at the firmware update page. I read similar issues in reviews, and it seems that the problem hasn’t been resolved for a year.
Another confusing aspect was the instruction to remove the LAN cable from the router. I power down the router and powered up, but the “Update Now” button remained disabled.
In the past, we had a modem and router connected by a LAN cable.
However, with fiber internet, the modem and WiFi router are now integrated into a single module.
To update the firmware, we need to be connected to WiFi and off mobile data, we must pull out the fiber cable and reconnect it to the router. This will enable the “Update Now” button, allowing us to update the firmware and add the device.
Another workaround is to use a second mobile phone and turn on its hotspot with the same SSID and password as our home internet. Connect the first mobile phone to the second mobile phone’s hotspot. During the firmware update process, simply off the mobile data from the second mobile phone and on back again.

My experience with the Havells Adonia I has been absolutely superb. First this review is after almost a month of usage. The delivery was on time and i just used havels whatsapp chat assistance to book the installation which was very simple and after booking i got a call from the installation team in few minutes and was s cheduled as per my timings. The technician was too good here in Dahod he did a very clean job with perfection, as he kept the place clean while working. He drilled the holes and cleaned the place very well before installating the geyser. The 25 ltrs is perfect for a family of 4 as it heats up pretty fast and once u heat it up full the water stays hot for the whole day. The geyser has beautiful lights and a good remote. Temperature can be set to less hotter during summers if required. I should say this product met my expectations and havels is always good as i also have 2 other havels geysers 10 lts instanio since more then 3 years and they too are working fantastic. One can definitely go for this product as it will save time specially for working people.
