Iron is quick heating , reliable thermostat , weight is perfect for domestic use . The temperature selector dial is clicky ( i.e ratcheted ) , cannot be moved by accident , very nice to use . Beautiful colors and looks Shandaar .
[...]First problem is the cable is a bit too short even though my power socket is nearby . Moreover despite advertised 360 swivel , the cable neck position is awkward , it tends to stay upright and contacts the hand during ironing clothes , which is irritating and I’m not comfortable to touch electric power cables while they flex , unsafe . Simply having the cable swivel backwards was better I feel .
Also the base of the iron is triangle , which makes it unstable to stand upright on ironing board . Heavy iron falling down to floor shall surely break it . Company should add small side wings on the back-plate for upright stability .
