A very good, multipurpose, easy to clean cookware from Hawkins. I have all three sizes available and don’t feel like using other vessels. It’s so convenient to cook curries, vegetables, sambar and even upma. Easy to clean because of the shape. A classy product from trustworthy brand Hawkins!

It might be costly for a few people, but for me, this is the best thing I invested in. It is not your traditional cook ware, it is definitely much better. The ergonomics is awesome, hats off to the design, I forgot my gas on high today, and the milk did not boil and spill. Now again, this may be a rare instance and YOU are responsible for how you cook. I feel that this utensil is strong, heavy, easy to clean and amazing. The best add on is the silicone handle, nothing like it.
Definitely it does not have a lid, but there are so many available online per your comfort. I have the 2.5 litre one and will soon order the 1.5 litre one for boilling milk. I will surely think of the stainless steel T pan by Hawkins too, as I’m really impressed with this product.
Hawkins is one company who will always have my respect. I personally Love it.

Product has good quality and lid however it’s not of 5 litres as shown … It can hold only 4 litres of water.

1. The built quality is just great
[...]2. The finish is very nice & flawless, the design is fabulous (the ratio of width & depth, the flat bottom the elliptical rim all spot-on)
3. Since it’s tri-ply & bottom is thick the food doesn’t burn
4. Being SS, it is the best material (The aluminium, teflon coating, cast iron etc. have some or other limitations)
5. Liked it so much that ordering a few more (slowly, sare ghar ke badal dalunga)
6. Though Hawkins says that don’t wash it in dish-washer but we have been washing it since long & we haven’t found any adverse impact, infact the external shine is still intact like new as it has not been scrubbed even once.
