a must for an Indian kitchen – recommended over the anodised or coated ones. This is heavy , and has a circular area below which is flat – that allows it to be used on UK hobs.

The thickness and sturdiness is great BUT everytime after wash, the surface turns brown (like the rusty brown color) (likely due to the iron content).
Also, they could have attached an insulation over the metal handle for ease of holding when the tawa is hot.
