I’m writing this review 2 weeks after purchasing and using the tawa. Though it is very sturdy, I’m not very happy with the quality. In the first week of use itself it started getting stains on the upper surface. In the second week when I made parathas, the oil stains have stuck to the pan and won’t come off irrespective of the amount of washing that is done. Very pathetic

Very happy with this item. It looks to be of good quality. I’ve used a hard anodized tawa before, from another brand and that lasted me many years (before I accidentally put it in the dishwasher). This seems to be of even better quality. Used a few times already and it functions just like nonstick without the harmful coatings

It is non stick, not bad to use, I use for chapati and works well for omlettes too.. it’s a little deep at the center not flat, weight is more.. only thing is it’s hard to clean didn’t figure out how to clean it yet, just normal dishwasher will not get the black color out

This is made of very good material but it is in concave shape… I prefer flat surface for tawa although it is very good, heat distribution is even… Since it is very Heavy once it is hot it retains evenly distributed heat for long time and if you maintain medium flame after heating it…. it does not burns roties… Very good performance of the product. It is scratch resistant …. I have purchase 28cm size it is quite good and big.. Coating on the tawa is very good… I have used metal spoons also but no scratches are visible..very easy to clean. Nice product .

After reading reviews, I came to know that customers are using this tawa for dosa and writing negative reviews though the company clearly mentioned this is roti tawa.
[...]This tawa is best for roti. Definitely one can go for it. Infact, in my experience, products of Futura (Hawkins) are always best compared to other well known brands available at this price in market.
