I received the product recently. I will give some information about sweetness of water after a prolonged study of many years. (TDS is Total Dissolved Solids)
TDS… 20- 50 packaged drinking water
TDS… 50-100 RO water (recommended)
TDS…100-300 water tastes sweet ( no RO is required, only UV UF water filter required)
TDS…300-500 water has no taste just neutral ( no RO is required, only UV UF water filter required)
TDS…500 and above water tastes salty and its hard water (RO is required to bring down the TDS)
If you are BUDGET oriented then this UV UF filter is HIGHLY recommended. The most important part in this water filter is UF filter cartridge. This UF cartridge contains small hair like strands which are about 0.001 micron thick (thickness of a hair strand is 50-60 micron) and which filters all bacterias BUT not viruses. The viruses and the bacterias are killed or become dormant i.e the viruses can not multiply in other words they are damaged completely by the UV lamp.
[...]In other cheap filters the UF filter is made from a tightly fitted sponge like material which does not filter bacterias but only filters suspended particles like a pre-filter cartridge. so this is the main difference between branded and other cheap filters.
All branded filters are standard but KENT is reasonable and efficient and Amazon delivers with utmost care.
KENT has made a name for itself since years BUT their after sales service is so costly and so inefficient, you can buy another new filter from a different branded company. Here there is a KENT dealer who sells refurbished filters and other cheap filters and if you ask for KENT he sells them at 30% more than what is available online and no free installation. you will have to pay a 200-500 rupees depending on how far is your home from their office.
In my opinion you BUY from amazon and install yourself by following procedures on youtube videos or ask any plumber to install it for you for 50-100rs OR contact amazon, they will send an authorized local agent for installation without any expenses. But while the agent is installing do not allow him to open the top kent cover even if its RO installation.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
[...]The product is purchased at the price of 7499₹ but during installation they will force you to buy filters/candles and above all they will force you to buy device stating low water pressure. Above all the product costed approx 2k extra that how the company cheats you.
For installation we have to call from our end ever after opting for service
The product is non returnable plus the water level indication work and it overflows instead of cutting the power
Description of product doesn’t match the actual thing just a scam overall
Rather opt for a cheap product that does the same work for lesser price

The seller fron banglore was perfect, there was no issues with product. Perfectly received. The issue starts when you call to install. You Mandatory need booster pump to push water inside as solenoid valve inside wont start, you also need a pre filter ( this is needed to keep dust out) these two things kent person will not allow you to purchase of different brand. He will ask you to buy from him pump charges 2850 and 1200 for dc adaptor 24 volts. Pre filter will cost 1200. The entire cost will be more than 10k. If your tds is more than 200 you must choose for ro filter and not uv filter. Don’t fall in a trap, find local filter guy to install itvfor you. Livpure motor along with adaptor costed me for 1900 and 1000 for pre filter, installation will cost another 400. Now you don’t need kent person. If you are not confident of replacing and service filter than comply with kent authorities. This just a trap from company, they will loose confidence of customers.
