   i wanted to hate this so bad. it’s so expensive. i walked into this purchase hoping itd be the worst one of my life, even though i’d have wasted money i’d at least have closure knowing that this lip balm i’ve obsessed over for months is Bad.
   but it isn’t bad.
   it is, in fact, very good.
   as soon as i opened the lip balm my first goal was to check how it smelled. scent is important to me, after all. and it doesn’t REALLY smell like sweet candy, more like strawberry banana, but dangit if it isn’t addictive.
   from the moment it touched my lips i knew i was a goner. the consistency of this balm is absolutely perfect, it slid onto my lips so easily, and as i laid around in bed i noticed that it was staying, which even a certain weekly seasonal lip balm can’t say.
   and when i went to sleep that night, i reapplied, and when i woke up my lips were softer than they’ve been in YEARS.
   it’s unfair how good this lip balm is. i’ll have to get every flavor now!

    I just love Laneige products. It gives a very light red tint. Very hydrating and stays for good amount of hours. Reapplying is required only when you have eaten anything. It is a little sticky while applying but once you spread it it stays around for a good time.

    I don’t know what it is about this brand that is different from all other lip balms – all I know is that this brand is for SURE different AND better. The lip balm is a lighter version of the overnight lip mask, which I have been using daily. Actually, I think there are two different lip masks— I was using both, but I ran out of the mask that is white and have been using the pink stuff by itself along with the lip balm if I get too dry. (Sometimes at night I actually also put the eye gel on top of the overnight lip treatment for extra moisture and repair, and that combo works very well.

    So compared to that, the balm is incredibly good, but it is a little bit lighter than the overnight mask, which is to be expected. It’s very handy to have throughout the day if you need a re-application. But not everybody needs a re-application because this lip balm is so good. I still get skin buildup on my lips overnight – but this balm makes it much easier to exfoliate my lips.

    It is pricey, so it hurts my wallet to buy it, but this is literally the best product I have ever used on my lips – I have always had problems with chapping and skin tearing on my lips, and this has improved the issue greatly. Because I’ve had such problems with my lips, I’m willing to actually pay the expensive price for this whole line of products. And this balm is very handy for quick touch ups of moisture.

    My sister-in-law says that she uses it on her lips nightly and doesn’t have to put on another balm or use Chapstick all day. (And she doesn’t wear lipstick either.)

    I think ki honest review is just that depends on people to people..
    So my review is just that it’s really good smelling and hydrating and goes throughout approx 5 hours maybe I would say so overall a four star
