I purchased this LG washing machine on May 18 via Amazon. It stopped working after just 4–5 uses, showing an LE error code on July 25. I raised a complaint with LG immediately. An engineer visited but couldn’t fix the issue and blamed “excessive voltage” — despite the reading being 246V, which is normal.
[...]Since then, I’ve been chasing LG support daily — multiple calls, false promises, unreachable numbers, and no action taken. Eventually, they admitted it’s a motor issue, but still no repair or replacement provided. It’s been over 10 days with a dead machine and no updates.
I paid ₹20,000 for a product that failed in 2 months. Amazon hasn’t helped either. This is a terrible experience with both LG and Amazon. Don’t buy this product. Avoid LG appliances and think twice before buying large appliances from Amazon.
