My aunt suggested this hair power in my school days. I used to bought it from local stores, used it for two years and now I’m ordering it online. I loved it, this product surely makes your hair strong, thick and long but you have to use this continuously to see better results.
I suggest you to use this powder shampoo after a oiling your hair and it will make your hair look little dry so you better use it one day before important days..

Never going to order this again from Amazon. I paid 182Rs for 2 bottles of the hair powder plus an extra delivery charge of 98Rs, only because none of us could go out and get it due to our quarentine. As you can see in the image attached, the price on both the bottles were neatly cut to hide the original MRP. The original MRP for one bottle is just 81Rs, and I paid 11Rs extra per bottle and a delivery charge of 98Rs. That just isn’t fair!!!

Otherwise, the product is superb and doesn’t dry out my hair. Have been using it for a very long time now.

This product was recommended to me by a 70 year old aunty whose hair is thick and has very less greys. She said she was using this shampoo since many years. So i decided to give it a try. I have used multiple bottles of this product.

I was suffering from hairfall and with some shampoos the hairfall used to increase drastically. I have tried using herbal/so called natural shampoos, paraben-free shampoos from brands like Biotique, Patanjali, Forest Essentials, Himalaya, Ogx, etc. I also tried many expensive shampoos from Loreal, Wella, etc. It would be safe to assume that my hair products have burnt a big hole in my pocket without any substantial benefit :-/ I observed that many times the herbal shampoos left my hair feeling extremely dry and coarse looking. Some of the shampoos were nice but honestly it just got very expensive in the long run.

I was looking for a reasonably priced shampoo which did not cause hairfall and also made my hair look nice. This hair wash powder did that for me. It cleans my hair well and doesn’t leave it dry. However, it doesn’t make hair soft and shiny like many other shampoos, therefore after shampooing I ALWAYS use a very moisturising deep conditioner/hair masque to make it so, which works quite well. The hair looks much nicer if you have oiled it before washing. It doesn’t give the silky smooth coating and shine to the hair which we generally get from all the silicone laden shampoos. (If you don’t use a heavy conditioner after shampooing or don’t oil your hair before, the hair does tend to become dry after 2-3 uses. Doing atleast one of these things is essential.) Most importantly, after starting to use this product i observed that my hairfall has reduced drastically and I can feel that my hair is thicker than before, which is the main reason that I am continuing its use.

I would also like to point out that i am not against chemicals like sulphates because I like squeaky clean hair and don’t like oil residue left in my hair after overnight oiling. Only sulphates clean the hair that much, I have tried using homemade amla-reetha-shikakai shampoo and the oil never goes away completely. So i have no problem that only 40% of the ingredients are natural (shikakai, green gram, tulsi, vetiver, reetha, hibiscus and fenugreek)

Also I have observed in the past that sometimes when you change your shampoo it takes some time for your hair to get adjusted, so atleast use this 3-4 times before you decide whether it suits you or not.

If you want a 100% natural shampoo, then this product is not for you. Otherwise I think it is a decent shampoo and you can give it a try, especially if you have a hairfall problem.

(Note- This alone won’t stop hairfall. If you’re using harsh products and your scalp is sensitive, then only it will. But if hairfall is due to vitamin/mineral deficiencies like low iron, etc then you have to improve on that aspect to stop hairfall. Overnight oiling of hair and biotin supplements also help.)
