I’ve been using the Narwal Freo X Plus for a few weeks now, and it’s been a solid addition to my cleaning routine.

    Pros:
    • Strong Suction: The 7,800Pa suction power effectively picks up dust, pet hair, and debris from hard floors.
    • Quiet Operation: It’s surprisingly quiet, allowing me to run it without disturbing daily activities.
    • Compact Design: The small base station fits neatly in my limited space.
    • App Control: The app is user-friendly, making scheduling and customization straightforward.

    Cons:
    • Mopping Performance: The mopping function is adequate for light cleaning but doesn’t handle tougher stains well.

Overall, the Narwal Freo X Plus offers excellent vacuuming performance and decent mopping for its price point. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly robot vacuum with added mopping capabilities, this is a great choice.

This vacuum is fantastic. It’s not as fancy as their higher end ones, but it’s a workhorse and keeps my house free from tumbleweeds of fur in between more thorough vacuumings with my plug in vac. We have a Great Pyrenees, a hound, and 4 long haired cats and this vacuum has lightened my load when it comes to keeping my floors clean.

Pros: It covers the entire downstairs of my house in a couple of hours. I run it every night after all the pet toys are picked up and it doesn’t keep anyone awake while it’s running. It does a great job of sucking up pet fur, cat litter, and little cardboard bits from cat scratchers without anything getting tangled in the brush roll — it’s actually the only vacuum I’ve ever owned that doesnt get fur trapped around the brush roll. That alone is miraculous to me because lots of vacuums promise no tangles around the roller and none, even expensive ones designed for pet owners, ever deliver on that promise. The battery has never run out mid-clean and it always has been ready to use when I need to use it. It hasn’t hurt any of my pets, even though my kittens thoroughly harass it while it tries to do its job. The mopping feature works well enough to keep my floors clean in between traditional moppings. It mapped out my house well and avoids obstacles well also. You can set areas that are off-limits and the vacuum will avoid those. It’s easy to schedule cleaning or just open the app and send it on its way. The app is easy to use and keep track of when you last used it and how much it cleaned. You can also adjust the level of suction and how much water will be used when it mops, and you can adjust the volume of the little music it plays and the voice that alerts you of what it’s up to when it’s running.

Cons: If you have lots of pets, you will need to empty the vacuum daily or at least every other day. The claim that you can go many days without emptying may be accurate for normal houses, but if there’s a Great Pyrenees or another equally fluffy dog in your vicinity, you will have to empty more often. Along those same lines, this does not have enough suction to deeply vacuum rugs (and I assume carpet, but we have no carpet in our house). It will clean off any surface dirt or debris and will keep rugs tidy, but you will likely need a plug in vacuum to more thoroughly clean carpets periodically. The same goes for mopping. You can only use water in the vacuum when using the mop feature, and it’s very helpful to help keep floors clean, but you will need to actually mop periodically. You may want to get a few extra mop pads if you’re planning on using the mopping feature nightly like I do. And finally, it does occasionally get stuck on cords or small cat toys. It sucked up a little catnip fish the other day and I’ve had to reposition it maybe 3 or 4 times when it sucked up a cord, but it hasn’t been a major issue, especially with the frequency it’s used. (The cat toy was easily removed and caused no issues.)

Overall, this little vacuum has cut down my workload and has made it so much easier to keep my floors clean. I don’t have time to use my plug in vacuum daily, but keeping a clean house is important to me, especially with so many pets. This vacuum has made that possible and I wish I’d purchased it sooner!

We’ve bought and seen the death of a number of the vacuum robots. With research we decided this would be our next purchase and hopefully outcast the others. It has and it’s performance is way beyond the others. One of the best features is the roller brush that is designed to NOT get tangled up with string, hair, or the like. It does this very well. The suction is nice and strong, sucking up the dirt. We also bought the upright S10 vacuum mop to mop afterward. The Freo Plus has the mop pad feature, but it’s not that effective for our situation as we live in the country and dirt and dog hair is more prevalent.
The build is much more robust than our past purchases and having the app to get it busy and see its mapping is very convenient.
    Definitely recommend this company.

I’ve been using the Narwal Freo for over a year, and it’s been a great investment. The app is user-friendly and makes scheduling and mapping easy. One standout feature is multi-floor mapping, which wasn’t common in other models at the time—it works well, though there’s a bit of a learning curve to set it up. The build is sturdy, and the robot has held up reliably with minimal maintenance. It handles both vacuuming and mopping efficiently, and the self-cleaning mop system is a big convenience.

Overall, it’s a smart, price-conscious option for anyone looking to automate floor cleaning. Still one of the best home purchases I’ve made.

I am thoroughly impressed with the NARWAL Freo X Plus 2-in-1 Robotic Vacuum Cleaner & Mopping system. I was fortunate enough to snag this amazing product for just 26k, thanks to a combination of a festive offer, a coupon code, and a card discount. The value for money is simply outstanding.

When it comes to performance, the vacuuming capabilities of this device are nothing short of excellent. It effortlessly picks up dirt and debris, even the tiny particles that are invisible to the naked eye, thanks to its powerful 7800 Pa suction. Interestingly, this level of power almost feels like overkill because the device is so efficient that you probably don’t even need that much suction for everyday cleaning. Yet, it’s reassuring to know that it’s there, ensuring a spotless home.

The mopping function, while not as stellar as the vacuuming, still does a commendable job. It might not replace a deep manual mop, but it certainly keeps the floors clean and fresh on a day-to-day basis. What’s more, this device has practically replaced the need for a maid in my home, which is a huge win in terms of convenience and cost savings.

I’ve been using this robot for about 15 days now, and one of the features that continues to impress me is the battery life. The battery performance is exceptional; it hasn’t fully discharged even once since I started using it. I typically give it a quick 15-minute charge before and after each use, and that’s more than enough to keep it running smoothly. To put this into context, I generally use the robot once a day, and it has never let me down in terms of power.

However, there are a couple of aspects to keep in mind. The replacement parts, though essential, are relatively expensive. Unfortunately, they are not yet available on Amazon, so you’ll need to purchase them directly from the manufacturer’s website, which might not be as convenient. I haven’t had to deal with customer support yet, so I can’t comment on that aspect, but it’s something to be aware of, especially if you run into any issues later on.

A point that I think deserves more attention is the maintenance cycle of the robot. After a certain amount of usage—such as 300 minutes for the mopping function—you’ll need to replace parts like the mopping cloth. This is something not often discussed, but it’s important to factor in when considering the ongoing costs of ownership.

Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and powerful robotic vacuum and mop combo. It has made my life so much easier and has truly exceeded my expectations.

Have had to call support twice in the first three days…
I like that it doesn’t run into everything. Freo mode is useless…have to go in and set your own preferences…

Ran last night night while I was out…and got a notification that it finished….when I tried to start it this morning it said low battery….I checked the map and the thing stopped under my bed…not tangled, not stuck…just finished and didn’t return to its dock….

In my opinion, I either received a dud….or this product is not worth more than 200 bucks.

    Update 3 months later.

I added a star 3 to 4 and purchased a second one for my mother….on Sale….don’t buy this this for 549 bucks…I feel like I over paid at 400.

My package was missing a mop pad…only one resusable one came in the box. I spoke to support…but never received a resolution to this.

The mapping feature is ….well…you have to divide a lot of spaces up…it doesn’t seem to recognize doorways…

Despite adding a chair to the map this thing will hump the chair leg for about 5 minutes before it moves on…ugh…I don’t want to add a do not enter space there..I still want it cleaned…but the chair humping has got to go…

I don’t understand why it does not see the legs?

It will chew up every cord on the floor….so be sure you have no phone cables or plugs laying out where it can get at it. It eats socks, underwear, hair ties get stuck in it and makes crazy noises…it will drag screwdrivers and other small tools making a racket….

I can’t get this to work with Alexa commands…it works with Google…but if I want to clean only one room…I need to use my app on the phone…

I never use the Freo mode…it really makes no sense…it doesn’t pick anything up…the first few times I ran it in Freo mode…the bag was empty. So marketing gimmick? Idk.

So good stuff…it’s quiet…it picks up alot of debris if you turn up suction power….I love that it disenfectents the bag by drying it…so it’s not a big deal when the dog takes a big drink and has water drips all over the floor… awesome.

I love the disposable bags with filters.

Its on sale right now with a 200 off coupon…I would pay 349 for it again…but not the 549.

The media could not be loaded.

The Narwal Freo X plus is a great vac with strong suction if you can’t afford the Ultra. Easy to set up and reliable. Soooo quiet!
Pet hair does not get stuck either due to its specially designed Brush (my favorite selling point).
I love how compact it is. Very minimalist design and not an eyesore to look at. The dust bag is very convenient. Here is a tip to prolong the dust bags. When your bag is full. Pull it out and compact it all again by hand to one side and stick it in again. With a heavily shedding cat, I have been able to get 6 weeks use on my freo X plus. Ultra quiet, Hairless, also mops, strong suction, Stores Dust upto 6 weeks, remote function and more.
What else can you ask for?

I’ve been using the Narwal Freo X Plus for about a month now and I am so sad I waited so long to get it. It surpassed my expectations. It offers multiple speeds/suctions or the vacuum, which is great when I want to set it on at night! The little spinning hair arms grad all the hair in corners and under chairs. Even on the quietest and lowest suction setting, it still picks up all the dog hair and dirt my golden retriever leaves behind. What really impressed me was how well it corrects itself when my dog gets in its way or when it gets stuck on my mini carpets.

The mapping feature is spot-on; it mapped my house perfectly, and the app is customizable and easy to use. Despite its size, the canister holds a surprising amount of dirt/hair and the roller has not gotten any of mine or my dogs hair wrapped in it!

The water tank is a bit on the small side, and while I haven’t used the highest mop setting, I wouldn’t say the mop is fantastic. However, it does a good job of getting surface dust and dirt, so when I come home, my floors are dog hair-free and shiny!

The sleek white design adds a modern touch, and considering its price, I’m honestly very impressed with the overall performance. If you’re looking for a reliable vacuum that does a solid job, especially with pet hair, the Narwal Freo X Plus is worth considering.

I recently purchased the Narwal Freo X Plus, and my first impression upon unboxing was that the product feels extremely premium in terms of build quality. After using it for 10 days, I am completely satisfied with its performance.

Narwal app is well-designed and meets most requirements, with clear mapping, detailed cleaning history, and the ability to clean rooms in sequence or on demand. You can also view live progress in the app to see exactly where the robot is cleaning. However, Alexa integration is currently limited to basic “start” and “stop” commands; it would be great if future updates allowed cleaning specific rooms or areas via Alexa.

In terms of performance, the mapping is quick, vacuuming and mopping are highly effective, and my 2BHK home is cleaned in about 30 minutes. The noise level is impressively low, making it unobtrusive while running. The dustbin capacity is excellent, with the vacuum able to hold waste for up to 7 weeks, and the water tank is larger than many competitors. Battery capacity is excellent and the charging dock feels premium. The product is designed logically with the latest features in mind.

Narwal’s customer service is commendable — they provided an experienced technician for the product demo, ensuring I understood all features. Overall, the Narwal Freo X Plus delivers outstanding quality, performance, and value. I highly recommend it as a worthwhile investment.
