Fantastic product great optics with clarity & zoom both.
Compared olympus 10×50, nikon 8×42 & nikon 10×50 physically in a store. Olympus is not worth the hype around & both nikon are near perfect with their low light performance & perfect image clarity. Had picked nikon 10×50 from this bunch but it lacked variable zoom which was my priority.
[...]finalised Nikon 10-22×50 since I was impressed by clarity & sharpness of nikon optics.
this is a worth buy if you dont mind spending a little more.
variable zoom makes it worth every rupee spent. When compared to fixed 10×50 @10x of this product it is slightly poor since field of view narrows but through the range of zoom it outperforms any of the products mentioned above.
things I could see as crystal clear images: moon’s craters (hand held – little shaky at 22x but with tripod fantastic effect.)
IpL cricket match: could see faces of all the people on the ground in relatively low light, even across the field the clarity & stability of image was surprisingly mind blowing (hand held), all the action on n off field was clear.
birds: clear view of parakeets , ducks, serpant eagles (low light) was as if the birds were right in front.
Could see clear view of objects even as far as 3.5 km way(to a great extent of details)
all the experiences are with binocs being hand held which is just amazing at a zoom level of 22x.
in my opinion a great quality product for a lifetime & worth putting in every extra rupee.
gives a fantastic variable zoom so you can further zoom objects to see the details.
Big thums up for on time delivery by amazon in a day. Weight of the product absolutely not an issue & this cab used for extensive hours.
Eye relief could have been better.

These 10×50’s arrived quickly and with protective packaging. Crisp, colorful, bright, full views. Edge performance is good with not much dropoff in sharpness. Comfortable to hold and focus. These provide higher quality views than my other binoculars from a couple other well known, non-camera brands. Nikon knows optics! I use these for astronomy and they are well suited for this. Great for stationary viewing daytime or nighttime where they aren’t going to be banged around. You may find them too heavy for hiking and not rugged enough for hunting and a roof prism binocular would be more practical for that type of use. I can’t comment on how well the collimation holds up if these are bumped around a lot because I’m only using them for stationary settings. Value-wise, the superior views make these worth the extra money compared to non-camera brands selling for less. I haven’t looked through really expensive binoculars ($500+) but I doubt the views would be that much better to warrant that extra cost.

If you want something for every day bird watching, distance viewing, or hunting from a blind, then this is a great choice! A deck or window with a big wide hillside view is the perfect place for the Nikon A211 10×50 binocular.
For me, it’s a little bit bigger than I’d want to carry while hiking or hunting, but that bulkiness also provides a clear and reasonably bright image compared to many other binoculars in this price range. It’s a full size frame, and probably wouldn’t survive a fall more than a few feet. As with all binoculars, those long objective lens housings are famous for getting knocked out of alignment. For walking and active watching or spotting, it would certainly be better to go with a compact binocular. If you do carry these, a neck strap or a chest pack would be the way to go. A wrist strap would get heavy and the bulky size would become an issue.
The optics are bright and clear. The edges of the image are not clouded or fish bowl distorted like cheaper binoculars. The distance focusing is better than expected at this price range, and I’d recommend these as a standard for daytime viewing. The clarity and image color might not make the hair on your neck stand up, but if you’ve never used an extremely high quality binocular, these might give you the shivers. lol..
A true 10 power binocular of this quality, is well worth $120-$150 to a serious user, especially if you’re using them according to their intended purpose. You would pay a lot more for this quality of image with other brand names. Though 10 power can be handheld, it’s about the upper limit of a handheld. A tripod notably improves image stabilization at 10x. As a rule I don’t like trying to hold anything over 10 power in my hands, so that makes the Nikon A211 10×50 binocular my number one recommendation, for best all-around daily use, and for people with steady hands.

This is a good bino for bird watching and exploring of surrounding as it is light, strong, finger friendly and having brighter image than other brands.
Although it is made in China, it is nonetheless a top grade product with no flaw.
I was into photography and bird watching since 1970s and had been using bino, scope and telephoto lens. The is the best buy in 10 x 50 .

High quality binoculars that are perfect for hunting, or bird watching. Often long distance binoculars aren’t ideal as they are hard to hold steady, however, these binoculars are easy to get a firm grip on. The zoom function is another great feature of these binoculars. Provides a wide range view when zoomed out and an extremely close up view on specific objects in full zoom. The performance alone beats other brands, but the price is the dagger. Easily comparable to $600-900 binoculars.

This pair of binoculars, although slightly on the pricier side, is extremely useful and a must have for wildlife enthusiasts, especially birders. The binoculars has excellent image clarity and even in low light, objects, birds such as owls perched high up in the canopy can be spotted without much difficulty. Very easy to use.
Some cons I could think of that are that:
1) it could have been slightly smaller and lighter but I personally did not find it a constraint to use.
2) the lens covers at both ends should have some feature to remain attached to the binoculars itself. This is important because when walking through forests and jungles, the branches may scratch against the lenses. I, could easily carry the covers in my pant pockets, but it is an minor inconvenience.
3) The binocular case is of good quality but lacks a handle or a strap. Putting a strap to the case would have made carrying the binoculars easier and also solved the above problem.
But that does not prevent me giving the product a 5 star rating. It performs its primary functions extremely well- Awesome picture clarity, low light vision and ease of use.

A fine pair of binoculars. You can see detail on the Moon that you never imagined was there, many more stars become visible that are just not visible in light polluted areas like cities. I’ve seen, at most, 5 moons of Jupiter. They appear as points of light next to the small circle of light that is Jupiter, how many you will see depends on how light polluted your viewing area is and just how many moons are not behind Jupiter.
Stargazing is a delight even though your hands will probably shake a lot and you will struggle to keep a good view of anything as small as a star.
The collimation was off on my binoculars and when I took them to the Nikon service center, they said nothing was wrong and couldn’t offer a fix.
Please please please take care not to touch the lenses, the front lenses are hard to touch anyway, being set so deep inside the binoculars that you’d have to bend your fingers to touch them but if you do, be prepared to spend Rs. 621, yes that much, to have them cleaned.
Water should never be used to clean these as unless you’re using distilled water, which I have not tried, the water itself will leave marks that you cannot clean yourself and will drastically reduce the optical quality of the binoculars.
The warranty only covers malfunctioning of the mechanical focus knob and nothing else, so it’s pretty much as good as useless. Cleaning is not covered under warranty.
When I received this, the seller had not filled out the warranty form inside so I was nervous about even getting any warranty at all but it turns out the only part that is under warranty is one that will almost never break anyway.
I may have just gotten a telescope like the Celestron FirstScope which is both cheaper and gives better quality views of deeper space objects but then I would not have been able to track objects like comets and the many artificial satellites, including the International Space Station. I could see the solar panels of the ISS with these.
[...]Overall a good purchase that I’m happy with. I’d keep these and also get a telescope for those objects that are not fast moving.
