Giving this 4 stars — it’s a good tool that takes a bit of time but gets the job done.
Performance: It works best with packed dahi, giving you thick, creamy curd. With homemade dahi (which tends to have more water), results can be inconsistent. Sometimes the bottom half thickens up while the top remains runny. In those cases, you may need to stir it midway or strain it a second time.
Bonus Tip: The whey it releases is a nice bonus! Great for baking, general cooking, or even as a drink — just add a pinch of salt (or not) and it’s refreshing and healthy.
