I would love to give 5/5 stars to this product, but the only problem you will face is when you need new blades. Then you feel the pain! It isn’t available on Amazon, it isn’t in the market and Philips service center won’t have it off the shelf. Then you are back to the old shaver. I have been through this pain and it wasn’t worth it.

Mein Mann suchte einen neuen elektrischen Ersatz-Rasierer der 9000er Klasse für den nun in die Jahre gekommenden Philips 9000 SensoTuch 3D. Der “Alte Rasierer” hätte wohl weiterhin seine Dienste verrichten können, gäbe es dazu noch die originalen Scherköpfe. Aber leider entpuppten sich sämtliche Ersatzscherlöpfe als gut aussehhende, dem Original bis auf die feinste Nuance ähnelnde Nachbauten aus China als rupfende, ziepende und laute Plagiate. Schade um das Handstück selbst, war es doch formvollendet und sehr handlich. War auch erheblich teuerer vor über 10 Jahren.
[...]Der “Neue” hier ist nicht annähernd so stilvoll. Er ist schwerer, lauter (Video vom “Alten”), unhandlicher, unbeweglicher und nicht so schön. Geschmacksache (siehe Foto).
Aber trotzdem ist er die einzige Alternative zu vielen andern Angebote der anderen Hersteller. Roto-Action musste es wieder sein und da kamen in der Preisklarre keine Anderen heran. Wozu man eine App zum Rasieren benötigt (?!) muss ein Jeder selbst sich fragen. O.K. Das neue Gerät soll umweltfreundlicher produziert worden sein und die Teile lassen sich insgesamt einfacher austauschen um Müll zu reduzieren. Dafür gibt es wieder Pluspunkte, da der Alte eigendlich nur komplett entsorgt werden konnte. Das neue Konzept überzeugt aber gerade wegen der zeitgemäßen Produktion, Reparaturfähigkeit und Nachhaltigkeit. UND er rasiert ja auch ganz ordentlich. Nicht so gut wie der Alte mit Neuem Scherkopf, aber beim i9000 muss man dann nicht so oft und auch nur nach etlichen Jahren nur die drei Klinkenköpfe aus Metall wechseln. Das wird sich ja zeigen, wann das passiert und ob es dann Diese noch erschwinglich (!) original zu kaufen gibt. Die 9000er Serie gibt es in den verschiedensten Ausführungen und Sets, daher der direkte Vergleich der beiden unterschiedlich alten 9000er mit “Basis-Ausstattung”. Ein Stern Abzug, wegen dem lauten Geräusch. Für den Preis trotzdem unschlagbar – denn es gibt ja keine schönere Alternative mehr …

This is a super product, would whole heartedly recommend. For those of you who are sitting on the fence wondering if this work for you or not, I say go for it. The smoothness of shave that you get with this is unparalleled and this has always been a challenge for me as I’ve used a razor all my life and I never used to get a smooth clean shave, esp in the underchin areas. You would have to give yourself a few days or a week max to get used to it. The form factor is excellent, battery life is also good. Now that I have been using it for a few weeks, i am not sure why I delayed the purchase for so long

It is ridiculous that for a such an expensive item costing over 170090 rupees, the packing does not include cheap power chord.

I was very skeptical about this purchase but my existing one was not doing the job. And I think as a shaver this is amazing.. The gimmicks are not so much fun though. I am just happy that it is able to help me shave and doesn’t require too much effort as I have very thick facial hair.
