This tawa is 3mm thick and not 4mm thick as described in product description.
I asked seller to replace my 3mm thick tawa with 4mm thick tawa available with Pigeon but
still he has not obliged. Also matter is pending to be resolved by Amazon.

The non stick coating is of very good quality. My mom has been using this for few weeks now and it is working great for her. Great for making chappatis and dosas.
Edit:
Handle joints are not quite strong. It started rocking after couple of months. I also purchased
Pigeon Special Non-Stick Flat Tawa, 28cm
which seems a little better.

Tawa takes time to heat but once its heated, there you go.You can make crisp dosas and pranthas on it. Tawa has strong and sturdy cool-touch handle. Good product for the given price on Amazon. Highly recommended.

One would assume that “induction safe” as called out in the description would indicate an induction compatible pan. Apparently not. I have two induction cooktops and this works on neither of them. I leave it to Pigeon to contact me promptly as I don’t want to have to get Amazon involved.
If seller has any ideas why not actually induction compatible I’d love to know why it’s advertised to the contrary.
