No rusting and plastic material is also satisfactory. Doesn’t cut onions and carrots smoothly unless u slice it n add small quantity to get the desired result which can be time consuming as the storage tub isnt big in size. Otherwise for garlic, tomatoes n peppers its very easy to cut.
