It does live up to the Prestige standard but was a bit disappointed with the packaging part of it. There was powder all over the handle and the ring, even after washing still has a powdered coat which makes it look old.
Have no complaints performance wise. The whistle sound is also not as harsh as other cookers…

This pressure cooker combo from Prestige is quite attractively priced. Metal quality is good. Have been using Prestige products since last 3 decades and they last long without getting out of shape. These models are useful to control spillage while boiling dal, vegetables etc. Only defect I noticed is the 5 litre cooker lid is not fitting smoothly. It is fitting with a metallic crunching noise and only after exerting force. Lot of sharp burrs, edges and metal projections which can cut the fingers. I had to use a bit of sand paper and filing to make it fit without noise. This is not expected from a reputed brand like Prestige. Hence giving overall 3 stars.
