As a medical student , this has been a delight to use , it’s size is perfect and performance never disappoints , and imo better than an ipad . Although I was a little disappointed by the battery life which lasts a day easily after heavy use but that’s probably because my phone is out for repair . The standy time is actually amazing with just 1% or less overnight. The display is gorgeous, I have no complaints about this tablet . The s pen works great . I even do emulation on this tablet and it never stuttered. I am very pleased with the product although a charger in the box should be mandatory for a device of this price.

So I bought the Galaxy Tab S9 on 19th June 2024 and I’m almost 2 week user of my Tab. My primary works on this tab are to watch movies, web series, playing games like Call of Duty: Mobile etc. I’m using the Tab with battery saver mode always, keeping the brightness to Low (cause it has a brighter display) and yes… I’m get max 8-9 hours of S0T and min 6-7 hours of SOT. The idle drain from 3:00 am to 11:00 am is only 1%.
① while watching movies/ web series:
Takes 25-30% in 2:30-3:00 hours. (With in built quad speakers at 35-50% volume. And believe me you’ll love the contents on that Dynamic Amoled 2X screen!!!
⑧ while playing games:
I usually play CODM. And with low + Max setting while on power saver mode also. It takes 10% in 50-60 minutes. And yes, there’s no heating. Just a ignorable Little bit warm at the back. I face a minor frame drops with the said settings, which is also negligible.
③ The s pen:
OMG:!! what a thing… especially the low Latency of 2.6ms is amazing. It feels like I’m writing on my paper. And the SAMSUNG Notes app is a genius app.
④ Samsung DeX & Dual screen:
These features are my personal favorite. While using the dual screen with my windows laptop, feels like I’m using another touch laptop on my hand. They’re seriously useful feature.
⑤ speakers:
Truly appreciate the output of the quad setup. Bass is quite good, with Dolby Atmos on, they are awesome.
I chose Tab s9 over this year’s iPad Air6. And I think it’s a good decision. You can go for it without any hesitation.

2. pen response is better than ipad ( i have ipad air)
3. Sound is awesome
4. battery management is very well (it will take few days and it will adjust to your needs you will start to get more screen time compared to when you bought it)

There are no complaints yet. Amazing screen and audio. Good performance. No heating (does it a little warm non uniformly from time to time while using the notes app or some other heavy task. Didn’t get warm while stream videos for 2+hrs). Spen experience is really great. Spen works amazing through screen guard(tempered glass) as well.
I was a little hesitant buying this item from Amazon as it had only 50 reviews at the time. However, I went ahead with the purchase as the tab was sold out from most of the outlets in the city.

One of the best gadgets i have ever purchased.Love the sleek design.
[...]Performance is really good as per my use,I generally use it for taking notes,watching online classes,netflix and some gaming.
Haven’t had any issues with it as of now.
Now coming to the price I admit its on the higher side but having said that its my first tab and i have no previous to compare it with but i have had no problems with it yet.
The goodnotes app is delight to use apart from the ocassional lag in the app it runs pretty smooth & makes my note taking really easy.
