Not a 100% scratch resistant. Initially a cracking sound comes near hthe ear area , but later resolved. Design wise it’s okay. But , in the helmet it is written than ” Design not registered “. If this Design is not registered yet then how come it’s allowed for sale here. Ridiculous!!!!!

The fitting is not tight. I have another steelbird half face helmet, even though the sizes are same the fitting is very different. This one is sloppy.
The wind/glass sheild is very poorly made. It shuts close due to wind force when you go above 80kmph and flies open half way when you go above 100 to120.
If you plan to never ride above 50 to 60 kmph go ahead, but for anything faster get something else.
You get what you pay for, which is, a poorly made helmet.

Though SBA7 is pretty old model but I think it is really worth it. I have used it for almost 1 year now. It is easy to clean and maintain. Visor removal can be a task but its still fine. The sunglasses inside is plus point for sunny days… I can just put that on and open visor for air. Face covering is good. Usually directly on head it feels loose but as soon as I put my balaclava then the helmet fits perfectly. The locks are good quality. The style is average but when cleaned it looks really cool for commuter riders. Padding is soft enough. The helmet itself weighs less which makes it even more comfortable. I wish there was a way to clean vents also… Rest I enjoy us in g it on daily basis. And you can buy visor kit if it breaks directly from Steelbird website and install it yourself with some help from YouTube videos. I did same when my helmets right side visor kit broke. I would still recommend to checkout newer models as comoany stops producing spare parts for old models after some time. But still this is a good helmet.
