Appena estratta dalla scatola questa piccola telecamera evidenzia i suoi primi punti di forza, mi riferisco alla qualità della plastica e all’ottimo assemblaggio delle parti, a un gradevole design (a me ricorda il robot C1-P8 di Star Wars), oltre a una estrema versatilità data dalla possibilità di montaggio sia su superficie piana sia a soffitto o a parete.
[...]Quindi, la possibilità di differenziare il movimento umano da quello animale è essenziale per chi, come me, ha un cane (o altro animale domestico) che, talvolta, sono costretto a lasciare da solo in casa. Questa funzione è veramente molto affidabile; ho fatto diverse prove, constatandone il perfetto funzionamento.
Le immagini diurne sono molto nitide e i colori riprodotti sono vividi. Per quanto concerne le immagini notturne, occorre tener presente che, essendo una telecamera per interni, l’IR è meno performante rispetto a molte telecamere esterne; premesso ciò, a mio avviso, anche di notte le immagini sono sufficientemente nitide.
Installata l’App, il collegamento della telecamera e il suo controllo da remoto è sia semplice sia estremamente affidabile.
Lo streaming è fluido, non altrettanto bene l’audio bidirezionale, nel senso che il suono è un po’ ovattato, talvolta ha un ritardo e un effetto eco, ma questo può dipendere dalla rete e dalla qualità del segnale Wi-Fi.
La sorveglianza panoramica, con inclinazione automatica o manuale, funziona egregiamente.
Molto utili e funzionali sono gli allarmi, sia il luminoso sia quello sonoro, quest’ultimo non è potente come la sirena dell’allarme perimetrale domestico, ma vi assicuro che dà, comunque, fastidio.
Per ultimo, ma non ultimo, ottima notizia per i neofiti come me, l’uso dell’App ove impostare le funzioni della telecamera è estremamente intuitivo; dopo alcune prove, il
suo utilizzo sarà un gioco da ragazzi.
In definitiva, sono molto soddisfatto dell’acquisto perché si tratta di una telecamera dall’ottimo rapporto qualità vs prezzo.

I’ve used the Tapo C210 camera for 2 months and it’s a fantastic value.
It’s packed with features like remote RTSP and ONVIF control right out of the box. Installation is super easy, and the picture quality and night vision are great for the price.
My only complaints are the occasional false motion alerts and the expensive cloud subscription, which is a per-camera cost.

The app is good, the camera itself is not bad, and easy to use. We use it as a baby cam. We used a better camera with zoom and pan&tilt functions before this one, but it was randomly restarting in the middle of the night and sometimes waking the baby with all the panning – zooming noises it made while restarting. So this one can’t move at all by itself at all, no zooming, no nothing, and also no noise at all. Super silent, except a “tppp” sound when it goes to the night mode and back to the day mode. But you can adjust it to work on the night mode all the time. You can also turn off the bright light in front of the camera, which was very handy in our situation. Our previous one was 5 megapixel, and this is 3 megapixel, so it’s kind of a downgrade for us, image quality-wise. But the image quality is not that bad. I wish there was a 5 megapixel version of this though. Overall, we are super happy with it, and great value for the price.
