This LED strip is of five meters length, so it can run and decorate a significant size of area. It is water proof and sustains sunny noons. The strip can be cut down into smaller length (only at the end of the strip on the designated points, not in between) if needed. The controller connects to 2.5GHz Wi-Fi only and I had to turn on this frequency just for this strip on my router. The controller does not have much things to do except connecting to the 230V power adapter (2 pin socket) for turning on and off, resetting the strip or changing through a basic set of light effects. Each segment (about 10 cm) of the strip has three RGB LEDs and a warm white LED adjacent to each of them. The strip has an adhesive back to stick to most of the surfaces.
All of the features and controls of this LED strip comes in the associated mobile app. Once configured, the strip and the mobile app doesn’t have to be in the same Wi-Fi network as the strip is controlled via cloud (after a firmware update of the strip).
Tons of light effects are available, brightness adjustment (this LED is too bright!), color change, firmware update, color temperature adjustment and a lot more controls in the app. Sound sync effect is interesting but the mobile and the LED strip both should be on the same network (obviously).
I dropped one star because the strip’s cloud connection is not stable often times and hence it cannot be controlled without being on the same Wi-Fi, but it works when it works!
Overall, a top-notch and quality product to decorate your room, TV back wall, balcony, wall, or any area that deserves highlighting.

I bought it for 3k , yes it’s a bit costly but if you are looking for a premium and smart led rgb strip ( that also works with alexa and google) and willing to spend some more money then this is the one in which you should spend your money.
Through the tapo app you can set whatever colour you want and adjust the intensity or brightness of the lights accordingly. It can also sync with the music you play, all this settings are present within the app.
The set-up won’t take much time just few minutes and it’s easy, and then you are good to go!
Haven’t check the adhesive, but should be okay.

Product is good but i have replaced the product one time before for the same reason the lights stop working after a period of time. Had to use 200rs more to send it back to manufacturer for a replacement. Still the product didn’t last 6 months.

Amazing product especially for the price. I would say good as the Govee ones and definitely chose those over Philips. One this tjat they are lacking is the alexa compatibility with Rgbic, she can change the color brightness etc but not a specific mode like rainbow or fireplace. I still don’t mind since only high end ones have them . 11/10

Cette bande LED est de très bonne qualité. Un fois posé cette dernière ne bouge pas et reste bien collé à la surface. L’application permettant de gérer ces dernières est intuitive et permet une grande facilité d’utilisation. Plusieurs modes sont proposés avec également le choix de plusieurs couleurs afin d’embellir vos pièces. L’utilisation via Alexa est un plus et fonctionne sans problème.
