Feedback and Refund Request for 2% Kojic Acid Serum – New Formula Issue
Dear The Derma Co Team,
I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the recent purchase of your 2% Kojic Acid Serum, which I have been using and trusting for the past two years. This product has always been my go-to solution for pigmentation, dark spots, and pore issues — and it has consistently delivered amazing results in the past.
However, the latest serum I purchased (from Amazon, with updated packaging) is completely different in both smell and texture. It has a strong, unpleasant odor, and upon application, it caused severe irritation, itching, redness, and a burning sensation on my face. Clearly, the formula has changed, and unfortunately, it does not suit my skin at all.
This is extremely disappointing and concerning, especially for long-time loyal customers like me. I trusted the brand and bought the product assuming it was the same as before, just in new packaging. Unfortunately, this has caused me discomfort and damaged my skin.
I kindly request:
Immediate action and clarification regarding the change in formulation.
A full refund for the purchase made through Amazon.
A quality check or recall (if necessary) on the recent batch of this product.
Please treat this issue with urgency, as it has caused me physical discomfort and has shaken my trust in the brand.

I’ve been using The Derma Co 2% Kojic Acid Face Serum for a few weeks (my 2nd bottle), and I’ve already started noticing positive changes! I bought it to target dark spots and pigmentation, and here’s how it worked for me:
