Regulator tends to all or nothing so it’s taking a little getting used to ( once it starts to rise off the seat it rises to it’s upper limit rather then a more gradual flow increase ), learning where to adjust the flame to balance. Cooks and cleans up well, and I like the size for small / single meals. The size is also probably why it reacts so fast of course.

I hoped that this cooker will perform decetly since it is a tad bit expensive than other popular bramds such as butterfly. The steel body, whistle are well built. No complaints there. However, the gasket that comes with the cooker is of poor quality. After 6-8 months of using it, the cooker stopped throwing whistles. It started working only after replacing it. I could not find the gasket on Amazon. I had to fetch it from local market, not sure whether we can find it’s spares easily. Maybe check your location.

Pressure doesn’t build up as air escapes from where the whistle sits. Vinod cookware’s customer care is absolutely useless. Their toll-free number is invalid and the landline is always busy, no response on emails either. So no way to contact them.
