I purchased the KENT Gold Gravity Water Purifier (11014), and I am genuinely impressed with its performance. The purifier is non-electric, chemical-free, and uses UF technology, which ensures that the water is clean, safe, and tastes great.

The 20L storage capacity is perfect for my family’s daily needs, and the countertop design fits well in my kitchen without taking up much space. I also love that it’s low maintenance and eco-friendly, as it doesn’t require electricity or any chemicals.

The build quality is sturdy, and the design is sleek and modern. Setting it up was easy, and the instructions provided were clear. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone looking for an efficient and reliable water purifier.

Sorry to say this. Water taste is good. But the Membrane got blocked often. we should clean the UF Membrane everyday by injecting it, otherwise we should wait for days to fill the tank. Day by day it filter very slowly. …. I tried to contact customer care. But no response. First i am not able to register this product in their website……. And another disadvantage of this purifier is it will purify only the clean water. Kent tell clearly that “Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system” that means if the water is infected when it come to our home, we should first disinfect and then we should use it with this purifier. Then why should we buy it. Better we can boil the water and use it. I didnot expect this type of water purifier from kent. Total waste of money.

Don’t waste your money on RO water purifier when you have the municipal water connection at your home. This gravity water filter is appropriate for use with municipal water, where the water quality is between 200 and 250 on the meter.
It is easy to assemble for a person with some common sense, even if a manual is not provided along with the unit. If in doubt find out from YouTube, there are many videos.
Someone wrote in the review that it takes very long time to add water in the top container, but that is not true. Keep pouring water without overflowing outside, it will collect in the container through two small holes provided at the edges. It hardly takes 2 to 3 minutes to pour the water in the container.
We have been using gravity water filter for past 40 years, with normal white candals and also the charcoal candals. But after using this water filter, I find it budget friendly and best in the market. For your information, I did total market survey of most of the available water filters (even RO systems) before purchasing this filter, without going by the brand value (I don’t consider Hema Malini suggestion to buy this filter). I purchased with full awareness of similar products by other manufacturers. This one is the best in the market and budget friendly.

I had been using a HUL Pureit Classic Autofill for nearly 12 years now. That was an excellent product in its class. But since it is hard to find kit and parts for it as the product had been discontinued, we decided to go for this one.
I will describe the Pros and Cons keeping two factors in consideration.
    1. A Gravity Filter is required by us as a Backup Filter for cooking purposes only. Our primary system is an Inline electrical UV filter by Eureka Forbes. So this is only to serve that purpose only.
    2. We have clean water source from Municipal Corporation. We only use filter as such water is stored in tanks at our premises. So filters work as an additional protection only. We can directly drink Clean water from Municipal Taps at our area.

Now coming into the Pros and Cons of this Kent Gold…
    Pros-
    1. Competitive Price
    2. Compact and easy to install.
    3. Decent Looking
    4. 3 stage purification which serves our purpose completely.

    Cons-
    1. Storage part is not upto the Mark. It can store way less than 13 litres at its bottom tank.
    2. While the bottom tank is full, do not even think of try to fill the top one as it will create an overflow nightmare. ( I didn’t not face this issue on my old Pureit as it had the feature of Autofill with Zero Overflow. We have to get used to this new Kent and it will create some adaptability issue)
    3. The syringe that came with the package was cracked during transport or packaging and we have to purchase a 50 ml syringe from our downstairs medical stores to prime the UF Membrane.
    4. The box contains no installation manual. So I downloaded the User Manual from Kent Website and did the installation.
    5. No instructions where to purchase Kent UF Membrane and accessories in their website whatsoever.

Conclusion – If you want to purchase a pocket friendly Filter (Non electric, storage type, gravity Based) then go for it.

If you have the budget then Go for an Inline UV or RO system and keep this as a secondary standby system like us.

But you are the one to decide considering your requirements, water quality, budget etc.

PS- This filter will not work well with other types of water like Underground Water, Water with Salinity, Hard Water, but works pretty well with clean sources of water. (Personal experience).
