I have purchased this washing machine in July 2023 and notes that this machine is a manufacturing defect machine and it has been broken down 5 times. The service centre is Shree service in Pune which is responsible for multiple brands so service response is really pathetic.
[...]1. Door hinge is made of plastic so broke 4 times by itself, but since it’s plastic parts so charge is borne by me approx 400 per pair.
2 Drain assembly is also plastic parts only so , for this I have been waiting for a month but no response.
I will suggest avoid this type of washing machine and if you want to buy at least consider the brands which has experience and can make washing machine with basic parameters checked. Don’t consider 2-4 K difference as Voltas is also selling a machine only instead it’s manufacturing is under different brand Becko, so spare parts are not available.

This washing machine works really well and does a great job cleaning clothes. The features are user-friendly, and the wash cycles are efficient. However, it is a bit noisy during the spinning cycle. Overall, it’s a great machine with good performance, but a quieter spin would make it even better.

I purchased this washing machine as it was priced very competitively and due to the trust on Tata Brand. But the problem began immediately after delivery. The Voltas service centre took 7 days to install it citing manpower issue. After installation, when it was tested for the first time, it was found that this washing machine had a sensor issue regarding water level and it would not detect the water being drained out because of which it will stop proceeding further into rinsing or washing and starts beeping an alarm after the water is drained for the 1st time.
The Voltas service centre technician says that Voltas washing machine is new to the market and has lot of quality issues. Majority of the washing machines delivered in his area have had the same issue. I had to raise a return request with Amazon who in turn sent their own technician 2 days after I raised the return request. The technician gave the report that the washing machine is unusable and after 2 days I had to call Amazon again to initiate pickup. The pickup happened in 2 days after this and refund issued 3 days later.
Overall the experience has been pretty bad. It is a shame that a reputed company like Voltas is releasing such defective product to the market with minimal quality controls. Thanks to Amazon for its return service that despite the bad experience and time wastage, there was no monetary loss. I strongly recommend against buying it at least till the product is updated and the water sensor defect is rectified. You can still buy it under Amazon’s guaranteed return service if you have enough spare time at home and no urgent need for washing machine.
